Servicing Quality Control Analyst – Career.Co-Sign

The Servicing Quality Control Analyst completes monthly and quarterly Quality Control reviews for servicing and default mortgage operations. Tests processes for compliance with regulatory, state and agency guidelines. Performs research and analysis on regulatory requirements and stays up to date with changes to guidelines and internal processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Interact with Servicing Compliance Manager to determine audit requirements.

· Complete monthly and quarterly servicing and default servicing Quality Control reviews.

· Gather and organize all required audit documentation.

· Test processes verifying compliance with applicable federal, state, local laws in addition to agency guidelines.

· Collaborate with team members to communicate findings consistently.

· Perform research and analysis on regulatory requirements.

· Analyze loan data to determine root cause of quality control finding during quality control audit.

· Provide recommendations for corrective action.

· Identify and investigate red flags on loan files for compliance.

· Escalate potential instances of fraud to fraud email inbox.

· Validate loan information and documentation.

· Create clear and complete reports of audit findings.

· Develop standard tools and procedures to improve audit efficiency.

· Stay up to date with changing guidelines, rules, regulations and internal processes.

· Provide support for Mortgage Electronic Registration System (MERS).

· Complete annual BSA/AML training and all other compliance related trainings.

· Perform other tasks as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

· Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

· Adapt in a fast-paced environment.

· Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

· Respectful communication inter-departmentally.

· Multi-task while adhering to deadlines.

· Prioritization and organization skills.

· Ability to respond positively in difficult situations.

· Working knowledge of Quality Control system.

· Familiar with Loan Operating System and Mortgage Servicing Platform.

· Strong knowledge of Amerifirst program guidelines and mortgage rules and regulations.

Preferred Education

· Minimum of High School Diploma.

Preferred Level of Experience

· 3 years experience in mortgage servicing or quality control.

The pay range for this position is $22.00-$26.00 per hour.
